In Nietzsche On Rhetoric & Language, he uses many binaries to get his message across. One such binary is that of the rational man and the intuitive man. He does not say that humans are all one or the other but in fact at different times one prevails more than the other. In Ancient Greece Art & Myth was held high. At other times, for example in the founding of this nation thought and rationality was prominent. “Of course, he suffers more violently when he does suffer; indeed, he also suffers more often, because he does not know how to learn from experience and he falls again and again into the same pit into which he fell before.” This is the case of the intuitive man he takes everything in so he is plagued. “How differently stands the stoic person who has learned from experience and controls himself be reason?” This person is literally crippled by reason and unable to be. All in all not all binaries are black and white it is more of a grey area.
