Hi Everyone,
After reading some comments, which were actually posts, I decided to help you guys out by creating this blog. Here is what you need to do to create a post and edit it( I know Awesome).
1) Go to blogger. com and login to your account.
2) Once logged in click the button that says new post. It will take you to the creating a post page.
Feel it out with your brilliant ideas and click publish posts.
3) Like most of you, I copy and pasted my post from word and got a wierd error message. This message is the confused html editor of blogger.com on the firefox browser.
Solutions:
1) You can write your post without copy and pasting
2) More useful: Use Internet Explorer. Everything should work fine.
Now, A more tricky thing on blogger.com
Editing an Existing Post.
Lets say you are checking out your brilliant post on the actual blog and you notice an error. OH NO! The teacher will think I am an idiot.
Solutions:
Click the new post button on the top right hand corner , I know it doesnt make sense, but it will.
Ok So now click edit posts, next to the create tab and you should go to the editing page. Click the
edit button on your post and you can change it.
If you guys need any more clarification. Do not hesitate in commenting this post.
I will respond. I promise.
Thank You,
Sander Zaydman

ReplyDeleteThank you so much! I sent my entry to the professor and she was going to show me how to post and edit on Monday. Now I do not have to thank you very much :D
ReplyDeleteYou are very welcome!
ReplyDeleteThank you! Since I loved you blog so much, I thought I would offer some amateur analysis of it.
ReplyDeleteFirst off, the exclamation point in the title suggests that you are very enthusiastic about helping your viewers create and edit posts; you are genuinely caring about helping us.
The use of " Hi" to start your blog is informal, friendly, familiar. You place yourself on equal footing with us; you do not have to condescend in order to help us. This idea is again reinforced by the fact that you use the passive voice in the the next sentence; the emphasis is placed of the fact that the blog is helping us rather than that you are helping us. Now we are introduced to the theme of enthusiasm for blogs; first in the title, and now is your emphasizing its usefulness. The parenthetical clause furthers this theme; blogging is awesome! In addition, figuring out how to battle the annoying oddities of the high-tech world--which are forever adding discouragement and confusion to our homeworktime and providing evidence to further the claim that wasting time should be one of college students' favorite pastime--is awesome!
I'm not sure if you are trying to flatter us with the phrase "your brilliant ideas" or if you are evoking satire because we think our own ideas are oh-so-amazing.
I think we all know what you meant when you said "feel it out."
The use of "like most of you" again puts you on the same level as those you are addressing, which successfully counters what you had at stake: seeming condescending, like a know-it-all.
To help you ethos and balance out this concept of modesty is the sentence, "Now, a more tricky thing on Blogger.com;" you clearly have experience on Blogger.com if you are aware of this one aspect's trickiness relative to Blogger's many other faculties.
The scenario in the next few lines show once more that you understand, that you know what runs through our minds. At the same time, the hint of a satirical tone reminds us to chill out about this assignment and be realist; one error does not equal idiocy. Again we see the theme of your genuine caring about helping us, not even with just the posts.
Finally (yes, finally), the short sentences at the end of your post are powerful, and reinforce themselves through the simple, matter-of-fact nature. And a very respectful ending, thank you.
Hi Tew,
ReplyDeleteI must say that is simply amazing that you went out of your way to write such a long comment.
Can you let me know how do you know so much about blogging? That was really cool that you did that.
Thank You,
